At the essence of this image, lies coordinate geometry wherein Cartesian coordinates meticulously allow the placement of each facial feature. These coordinates, expressed in terms of x, y,( and sometimes z for 3D modelling) axes, intricately map out the contours of this face, ensuring precision and accuracy down to the minutest detail.

Further, Trigonometry plays a crucial role not particularly in AutoCAD but in a wider field of 3D modelling. With trigonometric functions of sine, cosine and tangent allowing us to sculpt the graceful curves and contours of facial features. Parametric equations facilitate the creation of complex curves and surfaces based on mathematical parameters. By manipulating these equations, we can easily fine-tune the shape and form of facial features, and thereby, adapt them to meet specific design criteria and aesthetic preferences.

Boolean operations, rooted in mathematical set theory, allow for the fusion and subtraction of geometric shapes, enabling the creation of intricate facial details with mathematical precision. Whether sculpting the delicate curves of the lips or defining the intricate patterns of the iris, Boolean operations provide a framework for intricate design.

In conclusion, the relationship between mathematics and AutoCAD is symbiotic and indispensable. Mathematical principles permeate every aspect of AutoCAD's functionality, from coordinate geometry and trigonometry to algebraic equations and Boolean operations.
