About Me

I, Rishaaya Kakar, a 17 year old student at Strawberry Fields High School possess a deep-seated passion for art. This passion was ignited by a pivotal influence in my life: my mother. From a young age, I struggled to process my emotions, often failing to give them the attention they deserved. However, through the guidance and encouragement of my mother, I discovered the transformative power of art.. With the help of a set of Staedtler Shading Pencils gifted to me by my mother, I was able to put down on paper each and every emotion I felt. In art, I thus found a medium to express myself completely, where I could neither be judged nor misinterpreted but rather, felt understood and even appreciated from the wide range of works I put down on paper, canvas and sometimes even on the walls of my house! Channelling my love for mathematics and its fascinating usage in art has driven me to embark on a journey of exploration and creativity.
